Daniella Orihuela-Gruber first discovered comics when she hung out in the small book section of a department store as a child. The wonderful possibilities of comic books stuck with her until she re-discovered this amazing world as a teenager through the increasingly popular form of manga.

Now a graduate of Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo and a freelance editor for TOKYOPOP, she like to immerse herself in the unique narratives of the medium and blog about them. Daniella also enjoys cooking, traveling around the world with her mom and playing with her incredibly adorable dog, Max.
